Hobcaw Yacht Club is located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Its waterfront lies on the eastern bank of the Wando River just upstream of the confluence of the Wando and Cooper Rivers feeding into the Charleston Harbor.

The club's charter is to provide its membership with the best possible fellowship, entertainment and enjoyment in a nautical, family-oriented atmosphere. Members enjoy sailing, swimming and just about all activities imaginable involving boating and the waterfront.

MAP (click photo to enlarge) DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Charleston, I-26:
Take US 17 North across the Cooper River Bridge to Mt. Pleasant. From the middle lane of the bridge approaching Mt. Pleasant, take the US 17 Bypass, the left fork, toward Georgetown. Turn left at the second traffic light onto Mathis Ferry Road. Go 8/10 miles, look for Hobcaw Point sign on the left, and turn left onto Muirhead Road. See Muirhead Road below.

From North Charleston via Mark Clark Expressway, I-526 Bypass:
Exit at US 17 South just before entering Mt. Pleasant. See next paragraph.

From US 17 North:
From I-526 intersection with US 17 South, proceeding South, turn right at first traffic light onto Bowman Road. At end of Bowman Road turn left onto Mathis Ferry Road. Go one mile and turn right onto Muirhead Road. See next paragraph.

Muirhead Road:
Proceed 1/4 mile on Muirhead Road to fork at entrance to Hobcaw Point Subdivision. Take left fork onto Hobcaw Drive. After 10 blocks, the road curves around to the right as it approaches the Wando River. Hobcaw Yacht Club is on the left as you round the curve. Please park in the rear in the boatyard to avoid parking on the street when possible.
